The route stretches 350 km along the River Aare, from the glacial lake on the Grimsel Pass to ist confluence with the Rhine at Koblenz. After a breathtaking descent from the Grimsel, you then pass by the impressive Aare gorge and the shores of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun with their spectacular views. The route then takes you along the river towards Bern and the Berner Seeland, trough rural landscapes, forests and interesting towns and villages.
